OTTAWA, Ontario (November 23, 2009) National Event Management and the Professional Beauty Alliance (PBA), are pleased to announce the launch of the first Capital Beauty Expo on Sunday, September 12, 2010. The event was established to create an inclusive forum for beauty industry suppliers, distributors and manufacturers to promote, educate, interact with and sell to beauty industry professionals in Eastern Ontario.

“We are thrilled to be putting together this one day, one of a kind event where the hair, esthetics and spa industries can come together and see what the trends are for 2011,” states Stacey Evans, Show Manager. “All major cities across Canada host tradeshows of this nature and we’re proud to be introducing such a high quality event to the nation’s capital. This show will be a must-attend event for Salon and Spa industry professionals in Eastern Ontario”.

The show will also feature The Capital Cup – an exciting hair and nail competition created to crown the leading Stylist and Manicurist in Eastern Ontario. Separate category divisions were created for both the professional and new student to the industry. Judges will be comprised of an independent panel of local experts and Eastern Ontario celebrities.
